Bombay Sandwich Company

48 W 27th St

The only disappointing thing about Bombay Sandwich Company is that I didn’t know about it sooner! I’m blessed to work only a block away from my new favorite veggie joint. I usually bring my lunch since I’m Vegan, and like to know what’s in my food. But, I didn’t get a chance to prepare anything one day, so I fired up my trusty Yelp app to find a nice Vegan spot. Bombay came up! I checked out the menu online and was very intrigued. I decided to try their kale salad and was not disappointed. I absolutely loved the freshness of the greens and how delicately it was laced in super yummy dressing.

Last week, I decided to go back to check out what other veggie delights might be in store. I asked the guy at the counter what’s good (because I couldn’t decide between all the wonderful options) and he recommended the garden sandwich. Little did I know what was in store for my taste buds…it was, by far, THE best veggie sandwich I’ve ever had! The subtle salty flavored combined with the butter avocado and the crunchy bread tantalized my taste buds! I’m truly grateful for Bombay as it offers NYers healthy and tasty alternatives for lunch The place itself is tiny but charming and very chill. There’s also an outdoor courtyard that you can sit in. Even when it’s packed, it still has a laid back vibe that doesn’t echo the typical chaos of the city. I will be back and you should go too! I can’t wait to try out more options on the menu!!
