I’m writing to you from a very hot and muggy Boca Raton, FL. I was in desperate need of my morning green juice, so I used my trusty Yelp app to assist me with locating the nearest fresh juice bar around. As luck would have it, there is an excellent raw juice bar right down the road from where I’m staying! Raw Juce bar has an amazing selection of raw juices that they make fresh every morning. The variety can render you incapable of choosing, but I went basic and opted for the Raw Green juice. It’s a combination of parsley, spinach, romaine, kiwi, lemon, kale, green apple, chlorella, and ginger and it’s gluten free! They also have spectacular raw snacks such as a variety of kale salads and raw oatmeal selections (I’m currently snacking on the raw oatmeal parfait with goji berries, cranberries, and cacao nibs — delicious!)
I encourage anyone to always seek out the routines you value when you’re away. You’ll feel better, stay true to yourself, and see how the other half lives. I have learned so much from Raw Juce as far as new ways to play with oatmeal (anyone who follows me on Instagram, knows I’m obsessed with my daily morning oatmeal and photograph my creations daily) and different ingredients for the green juices I make at home every morning. I would have never thought to add kiwi to my green juice but it adds wonderful flavor. I’m even considering investing in a masticating juicer because I like the extended shelf life factor and flexibility to juice softer fruits without losing the nutrients; and all this inspiration came from visiting a place I’ve never been. Sometimes when you venture out of your comfort zone to appease your familiar routines, you learn a thing or two. Try it!
